CTE Wind at HUSUM WIND 2025: Innovations for the future of wind energy

From September 16 to 19, 2025, the North Frisian port city of Husum will once again become the center of the wind energy industry.

CTE Wind, a leading engineering firm specializing in the development of wind turbine foundations, headquartered in France with offices in various countries and continents, will once again be represented at the trade fair.

Focus on Soft-Spot® solutions

Among other things, CTE Wind will present its patented Soft-Spot® technology to interested customers – an innovative modification of classic gravity foundations. This solution significantly reduces the amount of material used: up to 20% less concrete, 12% less steel, and 11% less earthworks, which not only saves costs but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint.

International references and commitment

CTE Wind has designed or tested over 40,000 wind turbine foundations in 79 countries worldwide. The Soft-Spot® solution alone has been used in many countries in approximately 400 projects and over 5,800 wind turbines by November 2025.

Participation in HUSUM WIND underscores CTE Wind’s commitment to innovation and international cooperation. In addition to presenting technical solutions, the company will be talking specifically with planners about the German market.
